For years, my consulting travels have taken me all over the UK and, from time to time, even further still.
For the majority of those years, I've been lucky enough to evade any kind of illness. At least, I've evaded illness while I've been working. In the beginning, it seemed that I took ill as soon as I took any time off, although I'm quite sure I merely imagined that coincidence.
The last two years, however, have seen my illness becoming both more frequent and more debilitating. Again, though, I'm not 100% sure that this is actually true or is it a mere figment of my imagination.
What is true is that I have a lurgy right now and I've had it for 8 days now! I'm quite sure that I used to be able to shift these things in a day or two, but now I seem to suffer endlessly.
Why is this so?
Maybe it is old age? Maybe it is the life-style I lead?
Whatever it is... I don't like it and I want it to end, now! I also want to be 20lbs lighter, thank you very much. And I'd like abs... without the tedious training required to create them. Pecs please - I've never had them and I think I'd like to try them... without the tedious training required to create them, of course. Lower blood pressure would be good too. And the hair that grows out of orifices needlessly? That can "do one".
I'm only moaning because I'm feeling miserable and I'm bored of throwing tablets into me which seem to do nothing except line the pockets of the big pharma companies.
No doubt I'll be right as rain in a week or two and will have forgotten about this!
